Admissions Process
The admission process involves several steps:
Submission of Documents:
- Submit a completed “Student Application Form” along with copies of the child’s birth certificate and previous school report, if any.
- “Preschool Application Form” and “Primary Application Form”
Parent Interview and Orientation:
- Make an appointment for a parent/family interview and orientation session.
Student Proficiency Test:
- Schedule an appointment for the student’s proficiency test.
- The school will conduct an assessment of the student’s language proficiency (speaking, listening, reading, writing). Additional assessment can be made for numeracy and reasoning (maths).
- The test is submitted to the School Director, who makes the final admission decision in consultation with parents, in particular whether additional support is needed to attain age-appropriate language proficiency (ELL).
- A non-refundable Application and Proficiency Test fee of 1,000 THB will be charged on the day of the assessment (the test takes about 1 hour).
Acceptance and Confirmation:
- If the admission offer is accepted by the parents, confirmation will be provided with a specified start date.
- The offer acceptance is contingent upon the submission of all required “Documents for New Students Enrolment” and payment of tuition fees (see below).
- If the offer of placement is declined, the school will inform the parents of the reason within 7 days.
Documents for New Students Enrolment
- Student Application Form
- Previous School Academic Report/School Letter (if any)
- A copy of student’s birth certificate
- Doctor Certificate – immunisation records
- A copy of student’s identification (ID card, House Registration or Passport)
- A copy of student’s Father identification (ID card, House Registration or Passport)
- A copy of student’s Mother identification (ID card, House Registration or Passport)
- Student’s photo (passport-sized)
- Parents’ photo (passport-sized)
